Relief Registered Nurse, Pediatric Unit

Fraser Health is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to support its Pediatric Emergency Unit in Surrey, B.C. This part-time role involves assessing pediatric patients, planning nursing care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, the nurse will engage in educational activities for patients and families to promote healthy practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess pediatric patients using comprehensive nursing techniques

• Develop and implement effective care plans with families

• Facilitate rapid assessments with the Emergency Department team

• Offer health education to patients and community partners

• Engage in professional development and quality improvement work

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse status with the BCCNM

• At least two years of relevant pediatric nursing experience

• Strong skills in communication and patient advocacy

• Ability to navigate a dynamic and changing work environment
