As a Casual Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team within Community Mental Health & Substance Use Services.
Your role includes conducting assessments, establishing treatment goals, and ensuring effective healthcare delivery. Focus on empowering clients and promoting recovery as part of an impactful team in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care as per established standards
• Engage in ongoing assessments and treatment evaluations
• Facilitate client’s access to community services
• Monitor clients’ mental states and medication responses
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and interventions
Requirements:
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution
• Two years of related experience in mental health
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Strong communication skills and crisis intervention abilities
