The Public Health Nurse role is pivotal for providing essential health services, incorporating community development and epidemiology principles. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer vaccinations to children and adults
• Conduct assessments and counseling for families
• Facilitate health education programs and presentations
• Document client interactions and outcomes systematically
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Active registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Recent experience in Public Health or maternal/child nursing
• Completion of an approved nursing program
• Class V B.C. Driver's license required
• Strong communication and teaching abilities
