We are hiring a Relief Licensed Practical Nurse to contribute to patient care in the operating room at Surrey Memorial Hospital until approximately November 2026. This position requires a skilled professional to perform integral roles including patient assessment, documentation, and both scrub and circulating duties during surgeries. The ability to work collaboratively within the surgical team is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and document care during surgeries

• Collaborate with RNs in the operating room

• Assist and mentor new staff members

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Attend educational sessions to enhance skills

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse with relevant education

• One year of experience in acute care settings

• Active registration with BCCNM

• Basic cardiac life support certification

• Ability to manage physical demands of nursing
