Registered Nurse in Mental Health Services

Fraser Health welcomes you to care for patients as a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on psychiatric nursing, patient advocacy, and team collaboration in diverse settings.

As a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse with Fraser Health, you'll ensure comprehensive care delivery to patients across various environments. Engage in assessments, crisis management, and work with technology to enhance patient support.

Your role extends to mentoring staff, conducting quality improvement activities, and participating in nursing committees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement effective nursing care strategies

• Collect and analyze patient information for assessments

• Write accurate reports on patient conditions

• Lead consultations and educate staff and families

• Ensure safety practices are maintained within units

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved Nursing School

• Active registration with BCCNM as RN or RPN

• Minimum one year in relevant mental health experience

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License

• Ability to conduct mental health assessments
