Elevate your nursing career with Halton Healthcare as a Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse in Georgetown. Provide quality, evidence-informed care to acute medical and surgical patients through diverse skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Join Halton Healthcare's GH Med/Surg IP department for an 18-month contract. As a Registered Nurse, you will apply your clinical expertise across a variety of patient needs, including IV maintenance, medication administration, and post-operative care.
Your role will emphasize patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, quality nursing care to an acute patient population
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer IVs, medications, and care for complicated conditions
• Interpret telemetry readings and laboratory results
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire
• Recent medical/surgical acute care experience
• Telemetry experience and Physical Assessment Course preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
