Surrey Memorial Hospital, located in the vibrant city of Surrey, B.C., is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Cath Lab Unit. This temporary role requires collaboration with an interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive person-centered care. Your expertise in cardiology and strong clinical skills will make a significant impact on patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Coordinate care per physician and anaesthetist orders
• Modify treatment plans as patient needs change
• Teach patients about procedures and self-care
• Document assessments and interventions accurately
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Completion of relevant cardiology courses
• One year’s experience in cardiac care settings
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications
