Fraser Health is seeking a Full Time Perinatal Registered Nurse to support families during critical pre and postnatal periods. This role requires recent clinical perinatal experience, a passion for maternal health, and the ability to work collaboratively with an inter-professional care team. Your expertise will focus on comprehensive assessments and personalized care plans for patients and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments for patients and infants
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams on care plans
• Participate in patient discharge planning and education
• Coordinate nursing care and make appropriate referrals
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse
• One year of recent perinatal nursing experience
• Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP Certificates
• Strong communication and organizational skills
