Part Time Registered Nurse Cardiac Units

Join the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Relief Part-Time Registered Nurse in Surrey, B.C. This position focuses on patient care, assessment, and nursing intervention.

Fraser Health is seeking a qualified Relief Part-Time Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac Stepdown Unit until around October 2026. Candidates should have recent experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry, along with a strong background in patient-centered care. The role involves collaborating with the interprofessional care team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop nursing diagnoses

• Collaborate on care plans with families and caregivers

• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks

• Teach patients about health and illness prevention

• Document patient care and outcomes per standards

Requirements:

• RN registration with BCCNM

• One year recent cardiac monitoring experience

• Completion of relevant critical care courses

• Basic Rescuer Certificate

• Strong clinical and communication skills
