RN/RPN Mental Health Role

This position requires a registered nurse or psychiatric nurse with experience in acute psychiatric settings, particularly with young patients.
Your role will include assessing nursing needs and implementing effective care plans while actively advocating for patient rights and dignity. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan nursing interventions for patients
• Write accurate reports of patient assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care planning
• Participate in quality improvement and research efforts
• Provide mentorship to nursing students and staff
Requirements:
• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• One year experience in relevant psychiatric roles
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN/RPN
• Expertise in mental health and crisis intervention
• Ability to educate and empower patients and families
