We are seeking an LPN to join our Home Care team! If you have a passion for helping others and are looking for a casual position, we have the perfect opportunity for you as an LPN for Wound Care.

Areas where we are looking for Wound Care LPNs:Surrey,BC

Pay Rate:

  • Wound Care - $35.00 per visit
  • Client Reports - $60.00 per visit
  • Single-visit assignments are paid a flat rate of $50; assignments with two or more visits follow standard scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform wound assessments, assist the nursing team in developing and implementing treatment plans, and provide follow-up care in clients' homes, adhering to best practice standards.
  • Assist the Nursing Supervisors in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Utilize wound care tools and supplies provided.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
  • Complete client reports.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in British Columbia with a valid registration with the BCCNM.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion of Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector clearance.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for driving to and from client homes.
  • Experience with wound care is an asset but not required. Willingness to learn and develop wound care skills is ideal.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, client’s family members, and relevant organizations to meet clients' best interests and goals.
  • Good computer skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of client care documentation using our online systems.
