Fraser Health is hiring a Relief Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit until approximately October 2026. Ideal candidates will have experience with cardiac monitoring and possess strong clinical skills. The focus is on patient assessment, care plans, and active collaboration within an interprofessional team, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and create care strategies

• Collaborate with families in care planning

• Prioritize tasks and manage nursing coordination

• Provide education to patients regarding their health

• Document care interventions and patient responses

Requirements:

• RN credentialing through BCCNM

• Previous cardiac telemetry or monitoring experience

• Certification in basic cardiology and critical care

• Basic Rescuer Certificate

• Proven ability to communicate effectively
