This role integrates nursing care with a trauma-informed approach, emphasizing ongoing support and client empowerment. You will collaborate with various health professionals, ensuring each client receives tailored treatment reflective of their unique needs. By fostering therapeutic relationships, you will promote healthier lifestyles and ongoing community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate comprehensive assessments and care plans
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and direct care
• Facilitate access to community resources for clients
• Engage in case conferences to discuss client progress
• Document all care activities and client outcomes
Requirements:
• Must be a graduate of a recognized nursing program
• Minimum two years in mental health or related fields
• Active registration with BCCNM
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Strong clinical knowledge in psychopharmacology and counseling
