As a Registered Nurse, you will operate within the framework of the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives standards. Your responsibilities encompass patient assessments, care planning, and crisis interventions. The position also includes advocacy for patient rights and the maintenance of a safe care environment through innovative practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patient needs and develop tailored care plans
• Facilitate remote monitoring of patients using technology
• Report findings and educate families and patients
• Advocate for the patient’s dignity and rights
• Contribute to quality assurance and nursing committees
Requirements:
• Must possess RN or RPN registration with BCCNM
• At least one year of related mental health experience
• Current Class 5 Driver's License required
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and treatment modalities
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
