Fraser Health is seeking an accomplished Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in Primary Care, Urgent Primary Care and, Specialty Primary Care to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic leadership group that is helping define and elevate Nurse Practitioner practice across the organization through excellence, collaboration, innovation, and clinical leadership.
Working collaboratively with a team of Nurse Practitioner Leaders and reporting to the Director, Nurse Practitioner, you will provide practice leadership to NPs across Fraser Health. In this role, you will champion professional practice, support role clarity, foster collaboration within interprofessional teams, and help maximize the impact of Nurse Practitioners across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and professional development support to Nurse Practitioners across Fraser Health.
- Foster role integration and professional practice excellence through mentorship, clinical practice feedback, collaborative physician partnerships, and strong interprofessional relationships.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Participate in strategic planning and implementation of new NP roles, opening of new Urgent Primary Care sites, and support the ongoing development of existing NP roles across the health authority.
- Lead initiatives that advance NP practice, professional standards, education, research, and evidence-informed care.
- Collaborate with Fraser Health Talent Acquisition to attract, recruit, and retain Nurse Practitioner talent, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and engagement with educational institutions.
- Maintain clinical practice and perform Nurse Practitioner duties as required.

Qualifications- Current practising registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner, supplemented by five (5) years of clinical practice and educational and/or program development experience in a complex healthcare environment.
