As a Registered Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care before and after interventional procedures, collaborating closely with the inter-professional care team. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will be involved in patient education and advocacy while navigating fluctuating workloads and engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized nursing care to high acuity patients
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care plans accordingly
• Assist in procedural sedation and airway management
• Advocate for patients’ rights and informed consent
• Document observations accurately across multiple formats
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM registration
• Completion of a recognized high acuity specialty nursing certificate
• Current CPR certification
• One year of recent high acuity experience
• Strong collaborative communication skills
