Join the Fraser Health team as a Nurse Clinician in Skin and Wound Care at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Surrey, B.C. This casual position values leadership and clinical proficiency.
You will play a key role in providing expert consultation and education in skin and wound care as part of a collaborative Medicine Unit. This position requires delivering evidence-informed practices and mentoring initiatives to improve clinical outcomes. Participate in research and quality improvement projects to elevate the standard of care in your field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate skin and wound care expertise to clinical staff
• Lead educational initiatives in skin and wound management
• Participate in quality audits and feedback sessions
• Facilitate mentoring and precepting for nursing students
• Collaborate on practice improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Minimum three years in skin and wound care
• Leadership or educational experience of at least one year
• Completion of relevant postgraduate courses
• Valid driver’s license for clinical responsibilities
