In this role, you'll act as a key member of the Pediatric Emergency Department, providing psychiatric assessments and interventions for young patients. Your expertise will be utilized in developing care plans and working closely with diverse health professionals to enhance patient outcomes and family support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care
• Liaise with emergency services for psychiatric patients
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Implement safety protocols for patient management
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM
• Recent experience in pediatric psychiatric care
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong ability to work in high-pressure environments
