Become a key team member at Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse. This position emphasizes psychiatric care, evidence-based practice, and collaborative patient support.
In this Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse role, you'll focus on delivering high-quality nursing care based on best practices and person-centered philosophies. You'll work directly with patients through various methods, including virtual support, while contributing to interdisciplinary care teams
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and adapt nursing interventions for individual patients
• Support therapeutic programs and quality improvement efforts
• Conduct remote monitoring of patients when necessary
• Advocate for patient rights and dignity
• Participate actively in nursing committees and training
Requirements:
• Qualified as a Registered Nurse from an accredited institution
• Registered with BCCNM as a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• One year of experience in related mental health services
• Class 5 driver’s license for attending patients
• Proficient in patient education and group facilitation
