Enhance the lives of youth facing mental health challenges as a Registered Nurse in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Emphasize patient care through evidence-based psychiatric nursing activities.
In this role, your expertise will be utilized in assessing and implementing nursing care for children and adolescents battling mental health issues. Working under the standards of British Columbia, you'll engage families, lead crisis interventions, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to ensure a safe therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and create care plans based on individual needs
• Facilitate crisis interventions and group sessions
• Write comprehensive reports on patient progress
• Work collaboratively within an interprofessional team
• Mentor nursing staff and participate in education programs
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• At least one year related psychiatric experience
• Registered with BCCNM as either RN or RPN
• Special training in child/adolescent mental health
• Physical capability to perform job duties
Deliver exceptional psychiatric nursing care to shape the well-being of young patients in need.
