Salary  The salary range for this position is CAD $60.75 - $87.33 / hour

Job Summary  Bring your clinical expertise and passion for providing quality care to a new and exciting role as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care supporting the Psychiatry Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) in Surrey, B.C. Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing medical care to persons admitted for mental health conditions. In this primary care position, you will be part of an integrated and collaborative interdisciplinary acute care team helping patients and families access high-quality medical and psychiatric care.
The successful candidate will work with the inpatient psychiatry team including nursing, allied health staff, and psychiatrist to provide medical care to patients while they are at SMH in emergency department Mental Health Zone or Psychiatry inpatient units. As part of the Surrey psychiatry health care team, you will deliver holistic, trauma informed and culturally safe primary care to patients with mental illness.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an integrated team delivering inpatient hospital care safely to patients. There is also the opportunity to work with outpatients as people transition to the community.
