In this position, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive assessments and care management for individuals with mental health issues. You will ensure a culturally safe space while promoting client self-determination and empowerment through informed treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform intake functions and conduct physical assessments
• Develop individualized care plans tailored to client needs
• Teach clients coping strategies for mental health management
• Organize and participate in case conferences for effective treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interventions and outcomes
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
• At least two years' experience in mental health settings
• BCCNM registration is required
• Access to a personal vehicle with valid insurance
• Experience with substance use treatment preferred
