Join our Medicine Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Casual Nurse Clinician, focusing on skin and wound care. In this role, you will utilize your clinical leadership and specialized knowledge to provide evidence-informed consultations and education to staff and patients. Collaborate within a busy hospital known for exceptional care in the Fraser Health network, impacting a growing community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership in skin and wound care practices
• Role model direct patient care skills to staff and students
• Conduct learning needs assessments for staff education
• Evaluate effectiveness of educational programs and consultations
• Participate in risk management and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• 3 years of relevant clinical experience in skin and wound care
• 1 year of education or leadership experience
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Completion of post-graduate training in wound care
