Fraser Health is hiring a Regular Full Time Registered Nurse for its Oncology Medicine team in Surrey, B.C. Your responsibilities will encompass patient assessments, care collaborations, and direct chemotherapy administration. Effective communication and a commitment to patient advocacy will be key to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patient health through comprehensive evaluations
• Deliver chemotherapy as directed by the medical team
• Foster collaborative care partnerships with patients and families
• Coordinate nursing duties and set task priorities effectively
• Participate in patient education about health and recovery
Requirements:
• RN registration with BCCNM and Nursing degree
• Certification from the BC Cancer Agency for Chemotherapy
• Proficiency in IV therapy and patient care
• Excellent ability to communicate with diverse individuals
• Commitment to patient-centered, empathetic care
