Fraser Health is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team. This role involves assessing patients, coordinating care, and providing education related to the Colon Screening Program. You will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal health outcomes and continuity of care for participants in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care for patients referred to the Colon Screening Program
• Perform assessments and develop care plans as needed
• Provide education about screening procedures and benefits
• Support clinical teams through booking processes and assessments
• Conduct post-colonoscopy follow-up assessments and communications
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Two years of related experience with colon cancer screening
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Valid BC Driver's License for work-related purposes
• Strong communication and patient care skills
