This regular part-time role is ideal for Registered Nurses with a passion for community service. You will be part of the Collections team, assisting in blood collection procedures and promoting a positive environment for donors. Your strong communication and phlebotomy skills are essential as you conduct screenings and provide post-donation care, ensuring donor comfort and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct donor registration and confidential screenings
• Educate donors on blood donation processes
• Perform venipuncture and monitor donor comfort
• Maintain accurate records across multiple systems
• Set up equipment for mobile donor clinics
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in good standing
• 2 years nursing experience preferred
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset
• Flexible availability for varied shifts
