Fraser Health seeks a casual Registered Nurse for clinical wound care, IV therapy, and PICC insertions. The work includes patient assessment, nursing interventions, education, care coordination, and collaboration with inter-professional teams. You will also contribute to quality improvement, research, and education programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate clinical leadership in wound and skin care
- Assess patients and plan nursing interventions
- Deliver wound care education to patients and families
- Develop and revise staff education programs
- Participate in quality improvement and research activities
- Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
- Three years of recent skin and wound care experience
- One year of leadership or education experience
- Recognized wound ostomy and continence course completion
- Knowledge of evidence-based wound care practice
Use wound assessment, education, leadership, and quality improvement skills supporting Fraser Health patients in Surrey.
