Casual Renal Registered Nurse

Fraser Health is hiring a casual Registered Nurse for its Renal team. The successful candidate has completed Renal Specialty Education, holds BCCNM registration, and provides assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The position supports collaborative care with patients, families, Physicians, and inter-professional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients on admission and at regular intervals
Plan, provide, and evaluate nursing interventions
Coordinate care, referrals, and discharge planning
Teach patients and families about self-care
Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals
Requirements:
Completion of Renal Specialty Education
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Registered Nurse
Two years’ recent related clinical nursing experience
Ability to initiate and maintain intravenous therapy
