Deliver nursing care at Surrey Memorial Hospital as a Regular Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse on the Medicine Unit in Surrey, B.C. Assess patients and implement care plans.
Fraser Health is hiring an LPN for a multidisciplinary hospital team. You will assess patient, resident, and family needs, provide nursing care, and evaluate outcomes. The position follows BCCNM standards, agency policies, and unit protocols while supporting informed health care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs
- Develop and update individualized plans of care
- Provide nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes
- Complete admissions, discharges, transfers, and documentation
- Support safety, equipment operation, and staff orientation
- Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program
- Current practicing BCCNM registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Knowledge of full-scope practice, including medication administration
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Physical ability to perform position duties
