Advance specialty nursing through Fraser Health’s education program, with paid wages and tuition coverage while studying. Choose from diverse clinical areas.
This Registered Nurse program supports professional growth and safe, competent, ethical care. Applicants may pursue Emergency, Critical Care, Perinatal, Neonatal, Perioperative, or other listed specialties. The program leads to a regular position after successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care
- Modify care and communicate changes to appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers
- Maintain safe, therapeutic patient environments
- Teach patients and families, referring to appropriate services
- Pass NCLEX and hold active British Columbia registration
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Preferably have one to two years acute care experience
- Complete specialty education applicable to the designated clinical area
- Commit to eighteen months Fraser Health employment afterward
