Cardiac Services Registered Nurse

Provide cardiac outpatient nursing care as a Casual Registered Nurse in Surrey, B.C., using ECG Telemetry monitoring and patient assessment skills.

Fraser Health is hiring Casual Registered Nurses for Cardiac Services at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre. The role provides person-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting. You will assess patients, coordinate interventions, educate families, and collaborate with an interprofessional care team.

• Assess outpatient patients using observation, communication, data review, and physical assessment
• Plan, provide, evaluate, and document nursing care
• Teach illness management, prevention, treatment, and self-management skills
• Coordinate care plans, referrals, discharge planning, and team communication
• Screen surgical patients and report diagnostic abnormalities to physicians

• Approved nursing program graduation and current BCCNM registration
• Two years’ recent cardiac prevention and rehabilitation experience
• Exercise training and ECG Telemetry monitoring experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and ECG rhythm interpretation certification
• Valid British Columbia driver’s license and physical ability
