Groundskeeper Cemetery

Enhance our cemetery's serene environment as a Groundskeeper in Surrey, BC. In this role, you will manage essential maintenance tasks to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of our cemetery and funeral home.

Your responsibilities will include operating lawn and grounds equipment, mowing grass, and caring for flower beds. Working collaboratively with the team, you will assist with interments and maintain cleanliness throughout the grounds. You will also perform essential repairs and comply with safety regulations to ensure the well-being of everyone on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mow grass, fertilize, and trim shrubs regularly

• Operate various lawn maintenance equipment safely

• Remove trash and keep grounds clean and presentable

• Participate in interments and related ceremonies

• Support minor repairs and cremation duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to handle tools and equipment effectively

• Willingness to work in different weather conditions

• Basic computer skills for effective communication
