As an Arborist Apprentice, you will assist experienced Arborists with various tasks in diverse locations. Tasks include tree installations, pruning, and equipment maintenance. You’ll engage in customer interactions and promote safety in your daily duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tree climber in rigging and limb removal

• Operate specialized equipment like stump grinders

• Perform daily inspections of tools and vehicles

• Complete storm cleanup and invasive species control

• Follow safety procedures and inspect worksites

Requirements:

• High School Diploma;
Post Secondary education preferred

• WHMIS 2015 and First Aid Certification mandatory

• Work experience in Arboriculture, Horticulture, or Landscaping preferred

• Class 5 Drivers Licence or plan to pursue
