Key Responsibilities:
Mow grass across assigned park areas
Weed varied park horticulture
Prune a variety of park horticulture
Complete general park maintenance tasks
Demonstrate safe work practices
Requirements:
Complete Grade 12 or equivalent
Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
Maintain a safe driving record
Have training and experience performing manual labour
Complete heavy manual work in all weather conditions
Bring manual labour experience, safe work practices, and equipment skills to park maintenance with the City of Surrey.
