EH&S Advisor II

Position: Full-Time EH&S Advisor II Role
Become an integral part of Finning Canada's team as a Full-Time EH&S Advisor II based in Surrey, British Columbia. Focus on enhancing safety protocols and regulations across operations.

This role is critical to implementing and improving Finning's Environment, Health & Safety Management System. You will act as a reliable mentor for leaders and teams, bridging safety compliance with operational needs. Your expertise will help shape a strong safety culture while addressing workplace health and environmental performance challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present training materials for safety programs

• Facilitate Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings

• Conduct audits and compliance checks within operations

• Lead emergency preparedness drills and feedback sessions

• Identify areas for safety improvements and implement changes

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in EH&S

• Preferred education in Occupational Health & Safety

• Experience in relevant industries such as mining or construction

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
