In this onsite role, you will conduct initial receiving inspections of raw materials and fabricated goods following a split shift schedule. Your key responsibilities include verifying compliance with technical drawings, generating nonconformance reports, and documenting inspection results for quality control. This position demands attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while playing a vital role in upholding Weir’s commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform receiving inspections of materials and fabrications
• Conduct in-process and final inspections on products
• Document inspection results and generate reports
• Review quality documents for subcontracted work
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical-related field or 5 years of experience
• Minimum 3 years inspecting fabricated steel or rubber products
• CSA W178.2 Level II Weld Inspector certification
• CGSB Level 2 MPI/LPI certification or eligibility
• Computer skills in Microsoft and SAP
