As a vital member of the Weir team, you'll work on a split shift after an initial training period. Your tasks will include inspecting raw materials, conducting in-process assessments, and generating documentation for compliance. With a commitment to zero harm and quality, you'll help shape the future of sustainable mining while ensuring the highest standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated materials and products
• Document results, completing logs and reports accurately
• Prepare quality document packages for client review
• Generate and manage nonconformance reports as required
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical field or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in inspecting steel or rubber products
• Certification as CSA W178.2 Level II Weld Inspector
• Eligibility for CGSB Level 2 MPI/LPI certification
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft applications
