Experienced Quality Control Inspector

Join our team as an Experienced Quality Control Inspector focused on fabrication and rubber lining in Surrey, BC. This onsite role entails rigorous inspections and quality document management.

We are looking for a skilled inspector with extensive experience in fabricated steel and rubber-lined products.

Your role will involve performing inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and internal standards, while documenting findings for client review. Technical proficiency in interpreting drawings and safety adherence is vital for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials upon receipt

• Verify compliance of fabricated products with standards

• Generate and maintain thorough inspection reports

• Apply technical knowledge of relevant codes and specifications

• Uphold safety culture through zero harm initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years quality control experience

• Minimum 3 years in reviewing fabricated products

• Certification as CSA W178.2 Level II Weld Inspector

• CGSB Level 2 MPI/LPI certification or eligibility

• Competency in Microsoft Office software
