IEM is hiring an EHS Specialist for its Surrey, B.C. office. This role demands an in‑office presence to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and manage safety protocols.

As an EHS Specialist at IEM, you will bring 5-10 years of experience ensuring regulatory compliance in manufacturing or industrial environments. Your expertise will involve conducting risk assessments, implementing effective safety programs, and leading complex incident investigations to enhance workplace safety. Strong analytical skills and effective communication are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and local laws

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections

• Identify improvement opportunities for EHS programs

• Complete incident investigations and corrective actions

• Prepare and deliver EHS training sessions

Requirements:

• 5-10 years EHS experience in industrial settings

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field

• OFA Level 2 certification preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
