As an EHS Specialist, you will leverage 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing environments to ensure compliance with regulations such as WorkSafeBC. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and communication of EHS policies. A Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field is required along with outstanding analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local EHS regulations
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement plans
• Perform incident investigations and root-cause analyses
• Maintain documentation of EHS policies and compliance reports
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of progressive EHS experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• OFA Level 2 certification desired
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
