Sunrise Farms seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to evaluate HACCP and Quality Assurance Programs. In this role, you will perform inspections, monitor compliance, and document critical data. You will also provide valuable assistance to operations while adhering to food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections as needed
• Audit product specifications through line checks
• Perform daily inspections and report findings
• Collect samples and conduct microbial testing
• Monitor ongoing compliance with GMP standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science
• Minimum of one year relevant experience
• Understanding of CFIA SFCR and GFSI (BRC) guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to perform sensory evaluations
