Food Safety Quality Control Technician

Food safety expertise meets hands-on quality control at Sunrise Farms, where technicians audit HACCP programs and inspect poultry production processes. This role supports compliant operations through precise documentation and testing.

The Quality Control Technician evaluates HACCP and Quality Assurance Programs against regulatory guidelines. You will perform line checks, monitor process controls, complete data entry, and report findings. The position also supports operations in meeting food safety requirements efficiently.

• Perform pre-operational equipment inspections before production start-up
• Complete line checks against product specifications
• Monitor line settings and document process controls
• Conduct critical control point and allergen checks
• Report deficiencies and off-specification products to Quality Assurance

• Food Science, chemical, or equivalent degree or diploma
• Minimum one year of related experience, preferably meat industry
• Basic knowledge of CFIA SFCR and GFSI BRC requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
• Flexibility for night shifts, overtime, and lifting up to 25kg
