Sunrise Farms needs a Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain poultry quality systems, product specifications, and food safety controls. The schedule starts at 12:30pm.
This position supports implementation, monitoring, and follow-up across the production process. Responsibilities connect quality programs with HACCP, label information, supplier approvals, microbiology testing, and regulatory compliance. The specialist also supports plant employees through training, guidance, audits, and corrective follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve deviations and supplier non-conforming product issues
- Maintain specifications, labels, approvals, and manufacturing SOPs
- Update Hold and Release, training, and laboratory trackers
- Prepare continuous improvement, KPI, and customer reports
- Coordinate pest control, supplier approval, and contractor documentation
- Two to three years in a similar quality role
- Related technical certification or post-secondary education preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, GMP, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and label software
- Ability to supervise, coach, prioritize, and manage time
Strengthen poultry quality systems through accurate documentation, supplier coordination, reporting, and practical food safety support.
