Poultry Product Quality Assurance Technician

Poultry product testing and process troubleshooting are central to this Quality Control Technician role with Sunrise Farms. Support operations by evaluating held products, verifying controls, and identifying deficiencies.

The Quality Control Technician follows established food safety and quality procedures across Sunrise Farms facilities. You will inspect raw and outgoing products, evaluate dispositions, and troubleshoot processing lines. The role requires clear reporting, immediate analytical action, and collaboration with Quality Assurance.

• Troubleshoot processing lines and recommend operational solutions
• Evaluate held products and suggest appropriate disposition
• Inspect raw materials and outgoing finished products
• Perform temperature, metal detection, and building inspections
• Complete QC documents accurately and without errors

• Food Science, chemical, or equivalent postsecondary education
• One year of related experience, preferably in meat processing
• Good analytical skills for immediate food safety actions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 25kg and work overtime or nights
