Coordinator, Property & Asset Management

Salary: CAD $34.67 - $49.83 / hour

Job Summary:

Do you have a passion for real estate and handling leased & owned assets? If so, bring your skills in Property Management to the Property & Asset Management Coordinator position. Reporting directly to the Property & Asset Manager (PAM), you will assist with managing capital property and leased assets. You will play a critical factor in achieving real estate service goals, ensuring efficient operational maintenance on sites and due diligence on contract and lease performance.

• Assist the Property & Asset Management team to implement, maintain and provide property management due diligence, including financial, administrative and operational support to ensure optimal use and function of leased and owned assets to meet clients’ needs.
• Assist the PAM with landlord and vendor relationships to ensure facilities are maintained and managed as per lease and/or service agreements. Preference will go towards candidates with comprehension in reading and managing leases and contracts.
• Initiate and track work order requests and requests for services (RFS) to ensure KPIs are adhered to as per the Provincial Service Contract.
• Manage work orders for self-managed sites.
• Conduct regular site visits for self-managed sites and provide reporting to ensure maintenance requirements are current.
• Assist the PAM with tracking service complaints, escalating and/or resolving as necessary.
• Contribute to budget preparation by working with the PAM to ensure financial information is current and accurately compiled.
• Ensure accuracy of the portfolio database (Yardi).

• A Diploma in Business Administration; and/or RPA/FMA designation from BOMI Canada and/or equivalent discipline.
• 3 to 5 years recent related experience in commercial real estate; property management and/or facility management.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
• Current BC Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes. Travel is required in Surrey, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Agassiz and Hope.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.

• Proficiency in accounting and financial applications and strong software skills (MS Office).
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with effective interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.

This is a full-time opportunity based out of our Central City offices located in Surrey, BC. The role will require vehicle travel within the Fraser Health region.
