Cashier Team Member

South Surrey – West Coast Gardens

Hours:

8:30am–5:00pm | 30–40 hoursper week

Pay: $18/hr

Duration:
March–June (possibility to continue into summer season)

Cashiers are the face of West Coast Gardens. You’ll welcome customers, process sales quickly and accurately, and keep the front area looking sharp. This is an active, customer-facing role where attention to detail and a friendly attitude go a long way. If you enjoy staying busy, working with people, and keeping things organized, this job’s for you.

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service for all customers
• Operate the POS system for purchases, returns, and exchanges
• Keep cash line stocked, clean, and organized
• Restock and face impulse items and small goods at registers
• Maintain product knowledge on plants and seasonal merchandise
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures as assigned
• Support restocking, bagging, and carry-outs when needed

• Friendly, accurate, and confident with customers
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Detail-oriented with good multitasking skills
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and warmer temps
• Reliable transportation is recommended as the location is not accessible by bus
