Support Walmart Canada bakery operations in Surrey by delivering customer service and maintaining quality merchandise. Work across bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
As a Bakery Associate, you maintain and zone the bakery area while assisting with stocking and goods sales. You help ensure bakery merchandise looks appealing, remains available, and meets food safety standards. This customer service and retail position is based at King George Boulevard in Surrey, British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:- Check quality and visual appearance of bakery merchandise
- Stock merchandise and prepare the department for business
- Sign and price merchandise correctly throughout the department
- Follow cold chain, temperature, rotation, and expiration standards
- Prepare products using thawing and baking guidelines
- Follow food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
- Apply ordering, clearance, markup, markdown, and labeling procedures
- Secure bakery displays safely and properly
- Provide exemplary customer service aligned with Walmart values
