Support natural and healthy food shoppers as a Grocery Lead Hand at Choices Market in South Surrey. Full-time, in-person availability is required.
This position offers a more responsible grocery role for someone with retail or grocery experience and team leadership exposure. You will supervise others, maintain department standards, and provide prompt customer service. The schedule includes one weekend day and one closing shift every week, with duties involving stocking, ordering, receiving, and till operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise others while directing department workflow
- Order and receive products for effective merchandising
- Respond to customer needs with positive service
- Stock grocery products and maintain displays
- Follow OHS guidelines and keep work areas safe
- Maturity, ambition, and an outgoing personality
- Retail or grocery experience with leadership exposure
- Strong communication and writing abilities
- Capability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Willingness to stand on feet throughout the day
