Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure workplace through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quick response are essential.

Pay:
From $17.85 per hour

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the premises
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
• Control access points by checking identification and issuing visitor passes as needed
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining security protocols

This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment for all individuals on-site. The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity, vigilance, and a strong commitment to security standards.

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in operating CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
• Physical fitness to patrol the premises and respond swiftly when required
