The City of Surrey is looking for customer-focused Community Patrol Officers 2 (CPO
2) for temporary full-time positions. This role is essential for extending bylaw enforcement services during late evenings and overnight hours. Candidates will manage investigations on private properties, conduct parking enforcement, and assist with operational support to ensure community safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to nighttime complaints, primarily noise and parking issues
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence for bylaw enforcement
• Monitor and enforce parking regulations actively
• Engage with the public during proactive patrols of parks
• Supervise CPO 1 staff and coordinate operational responses
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 with related coursework
• Minimum two years of experience in public-facing roles
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Supervisory experience is preferred
• Familiarity with enforcement technologies a plus
Support the City of Surrey in maintaining public safety and service excellence.
